Title: low millage 2000 FD
Post by: RyanT on July 17, 2012, 05:28:48 PM
its with much regret that i am considering selling my fd. i have owned this car for exactly a year now and have absolutely loved it. this car really has not missed a beat and starts hot and cold first time every time. the only reason for sale is lack of funds, this is my daily driver and with that means i go through petrol and servicing comes around very quickly.

the good parts

it has had two full services in the year i have owned it, at hayward rotary. which included oil change, new filters and spark plugs. the last one being in january.

it has a mot until january next year and tax until the 31st of december.
i have had a good condition cat fitted as the ld one had let go.
a japspeed exhaust.
hks coilovers
4 brand new tyres fitted last week
new windscreen wipers fitted last week
and a fog light adapted into the rear lights and a switch and tell inside the car.
it came with the late 17 inch alloys all in very good condition.
it has bee Imported as a 1.3 which means 120 pounds a year tax.

the bad parts

it is missing two spanners out of the tool kit
needs a new horn.
and there is a slight chip in the paint on the head light cover.

i think that it is it. very small things easily fixed. which i am in the process of doing now. if the car sells before this is done i will take 100 pounds off of the price to allow for these to be done. i think that is fair.

the car did have a compression test done 3/1/11 which showed
front 8.6 8.8 8.5
rear 8.4 8.6 8.6

so even tho was done a while ago it does show a very strong engine. i would guess apx 7000 miles have been done since.

it has now got 48000 miles on it and this will gradually increase as it is my daily driver.

the asking price is 8000 pounds
this is a fair price as it is a late spec in very good condition, with low milage. i am also in no rush too sell and will happily keep this until the right buy comes along. so please no silly offers.

( please note that in the advert pictures it shows the license plate as v949pdw as the plates where missprinted at the time of photos, the correct plates which are now on the car show v949pdv )

this has been brought to my attention and the advert has been updated.
