Title: airbag suspension
Post by: MintyFresh on July 13, 2004, 12:30:09 PM
im posting here coz posts never seem to get answered in the suspension section.

anyone know of a supplier that does a kit for the 3rd gen?

Im talking of the suspension that can be height adjusted at the flick of a switch.

airbagit.com might be worth checking out.  I assume they provide kits for the RX-7

Speak to DS Engineering - I think they are the chaps who do the work for Clive anyway. They specialise in hydrolics and have a rather bling lo-rider sitting in their workshop at the moment.

Unless you are talking about the TEIN kit that is like a normal damper but with remote height adjust:

If your talking about the tein EDFC then it only adjusts the damping not the hight.

Problem is my car is/will be full of heavy stuff - Me, ICE, Nos Bottle etc..  and the standard suspension cant take it.  I thought airbags would be the best option.  Do you think coilovers with a hard damping setting will be just as good?

Yes Steve can do you air or hydraulics and he can do it at more than a flick of a switch, some of his cars have been remotely operated by Playstation controllers.

The car  at the Pod was a Rayvern Hydraulics prepared car, he should be at Billing with us for you all to see.
