Does anyone know what manifold these Chinese eBay items are a copy of?
I bought a single turbo kit from the USA and it came with one.
The turbo is a good quality item and so is the down pipe etc.
However the manifold is cheap s**t and has cracked.
I want to replace it with a quality manifold that positions the turbo in the same place so I can use all of the other parts.

Might be an idea to put up a photo of it lol
You will probably struggle to do it, may be easier paying somebody to fabricate you a better copy of the manifold. Chances are it isn\'t a copy just poorly made.
My A-spec system cracked after a while and it was a good quality system, I ended up just welding it back together. Been fine since.

Just had a quote from a company in Kent to fabricate a better quality copy of this manifold.
£750+ VAT! And that\'s in mild steel.
You might be better getting another eBay one and getting it beefed up. I got mine on eBay (tuning parts bay?) it was a lot better made than some of the ones I\'ve seen photos of on Internet. Think some are better finished than others.
well im in the process of getting a manifold made for the kits i supply....i will hopefully have a spare one available at the end of this week.
Hi Ed, will your manifold position the turbo in the same position as the eBay manifolds.
Is it stainless or mild steel? What wall thickness is the tube? Will it take a Hks 50mm waste gate? And
How much do you want for it?

no it will be sim8lar but not exactly the same.
it willbhave m8ld steel flanges...( to elminate any warping issues) and stainless tubing,. wall thickness for tubing will be 3.5mm../.they w8ll be part of the kits i am putting together atm.
uou wpuld have to weld on the hks flange
i also have a used t78 man8fold and downpipe available if that helps....
How much for the used manifold and down pipe?
And also how much will your new manifolds be?

greddy trust long runner manifold with downpipe....( saves you getting one made)..both covered in some sort of high temp paint.

downpipe is v banded both sides........so its very easy to modify to how you want it...
