Title: Idle sat at 1400rpm
Post by: Mikey22 on July 07, 2012, 04:48:13 PM
I\'ve managed to solve the riddle of the bouncing idle.

It was a gasket that blew so ive replaced it and now its fine. Even holds when i select D or R.

However when in park or neutral the revs sit at 1400 and when a gear is selected i.e D or R the revs drop to about 900-950 and sit there.

Im led to believe that rotaries should sit at 850rpm. Is this correct? also is there any way i can get the revs down.

The screw to the left of the TB is fully out and the TB sensor is sat at 0.70.
The screw under the TB is fully in.

Any suggestions or is this ok?

cheers

Mike
