Im no expert but could be several things. 1st thing I would do is get a compression test done and that will be a good indicator on the health of your engine, if the water seals have gone, your car would have your starting probs and would run fine once started.

If you see tiny champagne-like bubbles in your coolant at your coolant filler neck, then its rebuild time as your water seals are gone.

Get yourself the rebuild kit from http://www.rotaryaviation.com/overhaul_kits.htm

and get your hangs dirty, you\'ll save yourself an absolute bomb!

Sorry to hear about your car, my water seal has just passed on too so I\'m having mine rebuilt.

I wouldn\'t look at it as such a negative prospect tho! As you can have many other things done at the same time!! I\'m having it ported and also getting larger injectors/fuel pump/polished plennum and alternator/HKS intakes and FMIC with hard pipes.

Admittedly this cost\'s more than just a standard rebuild but it\'s more convienient to have it all completed at the same time - Rather than have the car in bits every few weeks!

Ha haa lol!!

The last of my funds and the C-Card rebuild fund all lobbed in together!!:D

I really can\'t wait to turn the key once she\'s all up and running - plus I\'ve got to run her in too, so a great excuse to go out for a drive every night!!

Should be able to push the twins to their limit b4 going single (that\'ll come after my next bank job I expect)! lol! :rollin

How\'s your beautie doing?

So much potential, so little money!  Loads I want to do but needs important things like a news clutch.

I also want to tidy it up and give it a new paint job but there are a few other things I need concentate on at the mo, unfortunately not car related.
