As above...even more special than a regular rex...but at the same time it is bound to have lost a lot of the traits which make the rex so special.

It looks alright (would look much better on stock 99+ wheels IMHO) but where is the roll over protection ? how has the chassis been stiffened ? how much heavier is it ? + I bet it looks awful with the hood up (which is how it would spend 90% of the time in this country ;) )

I\'ll have you know there is nothing wrong with open top motoring! I had an MX5 for about 4 years b4 the FC, it was great fun good rwd tail out driving and open top too! OK so it is a bit of a hairdresser\'s car :rolleyes: but doesn\'t detract from the fact that is a great drivers car. Whatsmore, I\'m perfectly secure in my sexuality and therefore have no issues driving a slightly girlie car!

Agreed, it looks very expensive, like an Aston or Jag prototype... I can see why Mazda never chopped the roof off the RX-7 though, I bet it loses its looks totally when the canvas roof goes up!

If they could work out a proper metal roof that folds to nothing then I would change my mind - There is no space for anything as it stands, have a fold away roof and the only thing you would be able to carry is a flat cap:rollin :rollin :rollin

But I love the way my TurboII performs (Grinder knows how I like to show off my best side lol) if I prefered looks I would have hung out for a third gen
