That\'s it really it looks like I need to replace something but I have no idea what I\'m looking at.
Advice and knowledge please
Thanks
John
It they are the rear hubs, then those look like the DTSS (passive toe steering system) bushes. I don\'t think you can get replacements for these anymore, but you can buy the eliminator bushes that will disable the passive steering at the rear. Some people prefer to swap them out anyways.
what do you think is broken to make you fix it ??
thats what i was thinking , but those are housed inside , although thats where the arrow could be pointing ???
It\'s the rear and as one side seems to have rubber and the other doesn\'t I thought something would need replacing.
Should I fit eliminator bushes or will it be ok as it is.
wounder if the dust shield is missing thats all ??
Does it pull a bit under braking John?
No doesn\'t pull - seems to be handling fine
so how come you are thinking of changing them ?
I could be wrong but as one side seems to have a rubber bush and the other doesn\'t I
assumed something was amiss.
As and when the DTSS bushes fail, one of the indicators is a disctinct pull to left or right under braking. (well usually anyway...)
