Title: Vacuum help
Post by: Mikey22 on June 13, 2012, 06:13:29 PM
ok my description may not be absolutely great but should there be a great amount of air coming out of the pipe between the induction kit and the engine block?

This is the metal extension i think which is the breather for the engine. Ive had the plenum off to replace the coil pack and swap two one way check valves over. Now when i run the car there is air blowing out of this pipe.

However i cant think of why.

Thanks for your help

Photo might be best idea as you\'ll give us a clue ( put a penny on leaky pipe or similar).....use photobucket or similar......any air leak on induction side not a good thing.

Ill take some photos tonight when i get home. Not sure what the hell it is. All i know is it\'s the metal pipe next to the top air intake. I have a pic now but its hidden behind the throttle cables so you cant see it. Its a similar size to the ones the dump (recirculating) valves have on the induction.
