Hi just wanted to know if there is anyone with a compression tester around northants as all main tuners are quite far from me?

Looks like there was a meet there yesterday so you just missed out - I would have gone but I was having too much fun getting absolutely soaked in London!
OK, so it was 4-5 years ago, but I took my FD to a Mazda dealer in MK who (at the time) had a proper rotary tester. I know people wouldn\'t touch dealers with a barge pole for work on a rotary, but you may find a dealer locally that does have a tester available. Might be worth phoning around?
I wouldn\'t recommend the Mazda dealer in MK - they weren\'t even selling RX-8\'s when I went in a couple of years ago (new or used). I still get all my servicing done at Norton Way in Letchworth - a bit of a trek from MK but worth it.
Thanks guys shame i missed that meet we need someone locally that does rotates last thing i want to do when finding faults is drive it miles.

Ironically although they said they weren\'t dealing with RX-8\'s any more they had an RX-8 Owners Club display - with me and my old RX-8 on it! :xconfused I did point this out and they just said it had been there for ages.
