Bit of a late introduction as I couldn\'t find the correct spot on the forum to do it :)
Anyway I\'m Damien. I\'m from London although I\'ve been living in hanoi for a while now... due to go home soon though so I bought some new toys to play with.
I few years back I got an FC Turbo off a friend of mine... however it was rotten so bad it was just shocking... Both sills had completely gone, and I mean as if harry potter had zapped them and as a result could just see the carpet. Also the exhaust was rusted to nothing and needed replacing. As I had 11 other cars at the time I sold it... bad times :(
Anyway I\'ve had a pining for an FC vert for a while now... have tried to buy a few and had people not want to play ball as I\'m not in the country. Weird really as I can transfer money from a UK account and have it collected but anyway.
A month or so ago... maybe more? I don\'t know I bought a white FC vert. It has HORRIBLE wheels and some truly untasteful interior mods which will both be going immediately. However importantly it\'s got a good clean body, intact hood, low mileage engine and drives good. Cosmetics can be amended.

I paid a friend to go and collect it, mainly as I trust him with cars and like me knows what to look for. He was pretty happy with it so took it back to the batcave :D
I then emailed many rx7 breakers in the search of parts but with most people coming back to me wanting (what I think is) stupid money I thought that I would look for another car that had a blown engine that I would strip for the parts I need.
This then came up and once again took a punt on it from abroad.

My good friend again was compensated for his services and went to collect it for me, however this time I was called up (remember I am in Vietnam at the moment) expecting the worse I answered to hear him very happy indeed! The car was an absolute winner and in even better condition than the vert! Bit of a bonus as really I initially bought it for its running gear and new clutch.
At the moment both cars are awaiting my return in 10 days from now and the coupe is up for sale minus the running gear, but with the auto stuff from the turbo included.
Thats all for now but hopefully this time next month I\'ll be rocking the white FC vert about on its new wheels which are already waiting at my house...
These 17x8 & 17x9 +20 offset so should sit a bit better in the arches.

I think your "horrible" wheels look ok actually! :Thumbsup!
Your new wheels look like bling versions of the stock T2 alloys which are a pain in the butt to clean! :eek:

You want to buy some new \'ok\' *cough horrible* wheels? ;) They will be going straight up for sale.
I have a decent selection of JDM wheels from other cars, SSR formula mesh, Works, Rays, etc that I can play with at a later date.
Both cars seem solid underneath, car scene here is :censored::censored::censored::censored:. Yesterday amongst the infinite number of Honda waves (Scooters) a white rolls phantom followed by a white merc slr mclaren rolled passed. Thats how it is here. Either a camry with tints and chrome wing mirrors and gash offset nasty :censored::censored::censored::censored: alloys and clip on plastic brembos.... or big money cars.

If both sills and probably a generous 50%+ of the floor has been replaced then it could be yours! :rollin
How does 250 notes sound? I\'d be sending the money straight to another forum member for parts for mine haha. The rubber is good and legal, wheels are in good condition... I\'m just not a fan of big wheels, smaller mesh style is more my thing :D

I\'m more function > form but if I could I\'d love to have the FC on Rota RKRs which come in relatively small sizes...
