This is a regular meeting convenient to those in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
It is held on 3rd Friday every month, next being 20th May 2016, 7:30PM at The Furzton Lake Pub (http://www.fayre-square.com/pub/furzton-lake-furzton-milton-keynes/p1312/), Shirwell Crescent, Furzton, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK4 1GA.
Everybody is welcome - whether a current, previous or intended owner. Hopefully lots of chat and banter, not always centred on around our Rotary Lovlies. I will post up the same on MRC & see if we can attract other Rotorheads too. :)
There are some decent roads in and around the area too - so getting to and from the venue should be enjoyable too. In the future we may organise a "drive-out" or cruise around some photo opportunities in MK?

Not sure how busy the car park will be on a Friday evening (depends on the weather!) but Neil did suggest we could go for a bit of a drive - or even just over to somewhere where we can line the cars up for a photo (or two)? We\'ll see how many turn up on the night - should be good.

This turned out to be a great meet - 8 cars and 12 people, including a prospective new Rotary owner (looking for an \'8). I hope we can see more of the \'7 and old skool fraternity in the future!

hey dude do you guys meet up anywhere closer to oxford way iv just moved there and just wondered if there was a meet there
I moved the "Oxon" meet to here (MK) due to lack of interest in the Oxon Area - sometimes only two people turned up & max was probably 5!
There\'s at least one other who makes the trip up from Oxon - and it\'s about the same distance I drive to this meet :)

:Santa There is a fixed-price Festive Fayre Menu available for group bookings of 8 or more. Prices per person are £9.99 for 2 courses, £11.99 for 3 courses and £1.99 for Coffee and Mince Pies. Kids Festive Menus are £4.99 for 2 or £5.99 for 3 courses. I did update the first post with the time as well Sean. This re-using a meet thread is a first for MRC so we should have explained how it works! :Giggle Normally a really simple idea but a bit different for the Christmas one - we\'ll get there! :D
Quick Bump ... Everybody is welcome to this whether you\'ve been before or not...
I\'ll need to start thinking about collecting deposits and making the booking firm!

If there aren\'t enough, the meet will go ahead but be an "Ordinary" one with meals from the normal menus.
This meeting is going ahead - despite that I messed up on timing for ordering the XMas Fayre; that\'s not available to us - just the normal menu... We\'ll bring along some crackers to enhance the party spirit :-)

Yes it was the Caldecotte Arms but we had problems last time. They were really busy (because it was nice weather), had bugger all staff on and basically couldn\'t serve us - even though we had booked an area like we always do. They seemed to forget all the times in the Winter when we were the only ones in there (actually they just didn\'t care) so we walked out! :2Mad
So we\'re trying this one for the first time, also just up the road from me in Oakhill. Be good to see you. :wave
