Title: 99 Spec OEM Front - Where to source?
Post by: gav240z on April 26, 2012, 08:46:49 PM
Hi guys,
I\'m looking at potentially getting a 99 spec front end for my FD and looking on RHDJapan.com I almost had a heart attack for new OEM bits.

I want OEM for fitment and quality where possible.

My car is a 95 FD.

What I think is needed is:

 - 99 spec front bumper skin
 - 99 spec rebar
 - 99 spec undertray
 - 99 brake ducts and oil cooler duct (combination)
 - 99 spec indicator lights (both sides)
 - 99 front lower lip

If anyone has done this conversion can they let me know what was involved and where you got the parts?

Oh and approx. cost involved in doing the conversion?

You can modify your own "rebar" to fit a 99spec bumper. there must be picuters here somewhere.
So you dont have to buy a new rebar. ;)

Yeah but unfortunately my current rebar may need replacing anyway because of some minor front end damage.

Andy Tappenden? Yeah I emailed him and I think that will be the best way to go, otherwise I\'ll have to pay import duty if I buy from the US.

Another one for Martin @ Speedline, he can either source you a genuine unit or so im told he is nearly ready with his own ones.
