Wheel are Rota GTR-D 9.5J all round
215/40 stretched for fronts
225/40 stretched for rear

Still pretty standard but will be buying more bits soon

Man that looks nice, I really like it. How much did the wheels set you back? I assume you had to get coilovers to lower it like that?

Nice! I\'ve just picked up some GTR-D\'s for my FD.

What width and offset did you settle for in the end?

Just spotted the width you got, what are the offsets? I\'m going to hazard a guess at 25 all round?

Cheers guys I love the way it sits atm
£850ish for the wheels and about £200 for the tyres

Yeh I have coilovers only on the rear atm, haven\'t fitted the fronts yet though so it will go lower.

Offsets are ET25 front and 12 rear, had to slightly roll rear arches

I went for 10J on the rears with et 12 and £200 for tyres! Thats dirt cheap, I paid about £450, but then again I\'m not running the amount of stretch you are.

I\'ve got 255/35 and 245/35 I think.

Just waiting on coilovers now, here are some pictures of fitment.

Looks good, after reading sizes on Internet I decided on 9.5j all round so I didn\'t have to do to much arch work.

Bought the tyres from camskill online they are cheap and then fitted them using the hairspray trick.
The front 2 are falkens and the rears are Nankang so I can play about and not worry about burning expensive tyres lol

Yeah I got mine from Camskill too, really good pricing on there. I got my 2 x 255\'s cheaper then my 2 x 245\'s because they had a deal on at the time! I also went Falken, used them on my MR2 and can\'t fault them.

Needles to say, I\'ve a bit of arch work to do haha!

Yea just a bit lol. I\'ve never used falkens but heard good things so decided to try them out. The nankangs I\'ve always bought really cheap for my rear tyres as they seem to take alot of abuse lol, well they did on my 200sx\'s

I was surprised how cheap camskill are compared to everywhere else, and fittings not really an issue

Love the wheels, look like veilside andrews! but am not a fan of the stretched look and the fact it gives you less surface contact with the road, but hey each to their own

so its been awhile, its been sat like this during the summer as ive been busy with work.

(http://imageshack.us/a/img825/5251/53871510150662423921653.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/825/53871510150662423921653.jpg/)

Still no front coilovers fitted yet.

So I now have this to be fitted, its currently being sprayed so i should have it back & fitted next week.

(http://imageshack.us/a/img440/4206/img2240hl.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/440/img2240hl.jpg/)

(http://imageshack.us/a/img818/4193/img2245sr.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/818/img2245sr.jpg/)

(http://imageshack.us/a/img69/8218/img2241mj.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/69/img2241mj.jpg/)

considering changing the front tyres as I could fit them in the arches and give me abit mor eground clearence for when the kit is on

I Went to the Dakota Drift & Drag event at smeatharpe which was great.

The weather held up but the car didnt lol, the car handled great and was alot of fun to use it properly.
I had a good amount of seat time untill the afternoon at which point the radiator decided to burst :(

also a little video
http://vimeo.com/53978938

Ended up going home on the back of my mate Lee\'s truck

I have now ordered a Driftworks SuperCool Aluminium Radiator to get the rex back on the road

I will hopefully get my works warehouse for a weekend to fit all the parts I have ready to be fitted lol

Aluminium Radiator with new silicone hoses
FMIC
Front coilovers
Air pump removal
DeCat pipe
Apexi Twin induction
Front c-west kit
99 spec front lights

will also be changing the front tyres at some point soon so im not running too much stretch for ground clearance

Looking forward to attend the next drfit day at smeatharpe in march!

So i started stripping the car down in my work unit to get access to the radiator.

Had a few bits left over!

Old radiator damage
(http://imageshack.us/a/img545/1007/img2605fv.jpg)

New radiator :)

So I have now swapped over the radiator & fitted my twin apexi air filter

I fitted my lights into the bumper ready to be fitted tomorrow
(http://imageshack.us/a/img832/4623/img2597wo.jpg)

I still have this to fit but it seems dfficult as it involves alot of moving parts and cutting lol
(http://imageshack.us/a/img51/1968/img2595ph.jpg)

But atleast it shall be back on the road this week :) without the intercooler tho

So I was waiting on this being delivered to bypass the air seperation tank.
(http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/3457/img2630xl.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/805/img2630xl.jpg/)

Engine bay as is...
(http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/4705/img2631o.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/855/img2631o.jpg/)

So once that was on & the car was running on with the bumper!
(http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/1103/img2633yk.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/13/img2633yk.jpg/)
Its bolted across the top and cable tied on the sides, so easy to remove anyway for fmic install.

After fitment of the bumper I went and on the way home the headlight covers decided to fly off lol (I was going quite fast)
(http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/8881/img2634pd.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/19/img2634pd.jpg/)

After searching for replacements today they are actually quite hard to come by and have ended up ordering 2 carbon fibre covers.
Ideally I want to get a set of black ones but I will wait till a black rx7 is being broken or order them from japan!
Maybe just buy a carbon bonnet to match the covers lol

Looking good but you will really need to put the ducting back on for your standard intercooler until you get your front mount on
