Title: Need my FD mapped!
Post by: shaggysaurusrex on April 23, 2012, 01:40:54 PM
Hi

I have just made a few mods to my 99 FD and need to get it mapped as soon as possible. It\'s currently on the apexi base map. I am based in Bristol so the closer the better.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Carl

The spec is as follows:
1999 Mazda RX7.
Apexi Power FC and commander.
Later twin turbos and engine obviously still running sequential.
Blitz Nur Spec-r mid pipe and back box.
HKS down pipe.
Aeromotive FPR.
Bosch 1600cc secondary injectors.
Apexi twin intakes with hard piping.
Walbro 255L fuel pump.
Ceramic coated manifolds.
Front mount intercooler.
Magnecor 10mm ht leads.
Full pulley kit including air pump and aircon removal. NOT underdrive.
NGK BUR9EQP plugs all round

I know the general opinion about Walbro pumps but it was only put in as the original pump failed and i had it hanging about off an Impreza.

I did speak to Carl Hayward about it a while back and have emailed him twice but heard nothing back as yet.   spec is as above.

What model FD do you have. Only reason i ask is to give you some idea of which turbos you\'ll have. Not all \'99+ cars came with \'99 spec\' turbos.
