Unfortunately due to certain circumstances i am forced to sell my FD RX-7, unfortunately it is in the process of being worked on so would be sold as a project or as parts, whatever has the most interest.
When i bought the car it was delivered with no:
Radiator
Intercooler
Door handles
Suitable wheels
Front bumper
Rear bumper
Front and rear breaks
Exaust
And a few other minor things, the reason for this was i planned to fit aftermarket parts myself as my project car. I’ve been doing this for a little over a year now, purchased it in roughly February 2011. During this I have purchased and fitted:
New T04R Single turbo (+Manifold, custom pipe and wastegate)
New Aftermarket 3 core aluminium radiator (+Plumming)
Used HKS Intercooler (+Plumming)
Used Apexi twin cone air filter ( used but Never fitted)
New Greddy Compression Elbow (Without blowoff flange)
I purchased the turbo off someone on Mazda Rotary Club forums, with a broken back plate, got the turbo re built by Owen developments costing £1108.63 which i have receipts for, since this the turbo has been fitted but never started or ran.
When i got the news i had to sell the car i was mid way through removing all the emissions valves and the mess of vacuum pipes in the engine bay. Before the car was purchased it had a compression test done and passed. The car has been pulled in and out of my garage to have work done and started when possible, i cannot give the exact results of the compression test but if you are interested are more than welcome to come and perform one.
The roof has a slight dent roughly 30 cm long just above windscreen, windscreen itself is fine and a friend of mine who works in a body shop informs me it will not be a problem to rectify with a bit of panel beating or filler.
So to confirm, parts i have now are:
Chassis
4 Wheels for rolling purposes
Tri Core aluminium Radiator, + Silicone Hoses
HKS Front mount intercooler + Silicone Hoses
Fully rebuilt T04R Turbo with custom down pipe and HKS Wastegate
Apexi dual air filters
Standard twin turbos, look to be in good condition
Standard Intercooler
After market front bumper (Nothing special not a named brand)
Working standard front lights
Standard Rear lights
Clifford alarm system with two keys and fobs
Greddy Compression elbow
Don’t think i have missed anything will add it on as i remember if i have, would ideally like to sell the car as a project as would be allot easier for me, i understand allot of imagination is required here and i appreciate your time in readying this post. However if there is no interest in selling the car as a project then will have to look at the option of breaking it down for parts.
I paid £2000 for basically, engine, interior and chasis and a further £2000 on purchasing and rebuilding the turbo so would like to see my return on them.
Car is stored in Brighton area viewing is more than welcome, sorry for the lack of pictures at this time i am unable to get to the garage as signed off work currently. Am away next week so pictures will be available end of next week if needed just looking to see if there is any interested in the car as a whole or parts.

yes mate ran fine, i have had the car a year an a half and have started it to ensure it didnt seize up etc. When i purchased it i had a video sent to me of the car running, driving and temperatures before and after the run and all was fine.
When i have had the car started had no abnormal knocks squeeks or anything like that.
Giving this guy to the end of the weekend encase any family emergencies have come up explaining the no reply.
Engine is out and ready for collection in Lancing BN15 postcode. a few anciliaries still attached including the flywheel which was unfortunatley damaged during the removal.
