Treated myself to a long run in my FC EGI NA today. Sussex>Tamworth>Essex>Sussex. 400 miles in all and pretty much 70/80 all the way (plus a lot of time in slow traffic) and the little beauty turned in just over 24 mpgs!
Maybe I CAN afford to keep her!!?? and take her off the market!:3gears-rh
Nice one. To be honest I don\'t think that they are any worse on fuel than the equivalent piston engine cars when you get them out on a decent run.

If you get some decent breathing mods to help with the throttle response they do return a pretty good mpg, it will run on a cruise map at motorway speeds - mine runs at exactly 14.7:1 on cruise :)
i get 300 miles approx in my fd to a tank sitting at a constant 80mph so yea they are not as bad as folk make out (except in town)

:Thumbs-up
On a run with a derestricted exhaust/inlet you can see 25mpg on an EGi and nearly 30mpg on a TII :D

They really are. My beemer will do 40mpg on a motorway run and thats with a 2.8 litre 210ish bhp engine. Unfortunately is doesn\'t handle or sound like an fc :(
