Already posted in meets area, but here too for a little more exposure:-
I know I mentioned it before, but here is a nice new thread for it.
Firstly, I am competing even if my suspension is knackered so you all need to come along to support me whilst im outnumbered by 200SX\'s! If I suck (and thats likely) you can also then take the piss out of me here
Secondly, I need to know who wants to put their car in the MRC display. If your coming along you may as well as its gets you cheaper entry (1/2 price) and you might win a prize in one of the 4 categories. If not, it will still look nice to have a good display of our cars out there with a couple of the other clubs. Im sure we can put them to shame
For those who have never been, its a good day and there are also other reffles and things that go on.
So come along

Lee everyone\'s scared yer guna drift like an Arab (not a racist term but i recall seeing a vid a while back with some Arabs doing sum mad drifts down the road which looked skillfull as such but i just found this vid of the outtakes:

*Should* be ok depending upon cost and also my car is going back into the bodyshop next week to have the paint problems on the nose rectified, I\'ll give them a call today and check how long the work is going to take.

I\'m gonna go if my car is ready anyway... I had some suspension that didn\'t quite work out then somebody hmmm.... who could that be :rolleyes: beat me to some HKS coilovers!! ;)
So I\'m still not sure yet. Still waiting on my rims from Shin too - I was kinda hoping to be ready for the meet on Tuesday but that\'s looking unlikely too!!

The cost is only £5 with the discount from putting the car on display, but I need a few more people as im a bit embarrassed about no-one seeming to want to come!
I said I thought I could get 10 which didnt seem a difficult task :rolleyes:
If you guys can make it that will boost the numbers a lot :)
Ben - I need coilovers and dont feel guilty at all! Scooby Si has some Tanabes and Fish has some Teins though, depends what you want...

No I dont have a video camera. Silverstone are strict on what they allow in the cars anyway and I dont think suction mounts are good enough.

You need your car though, preferably on Tuesday too because theres bits I want to look at.
Dont think Ill have mine tuesday night as the suspension is still waiting to go on this week. It will be done though.
Took 3.5 hours fri night to get to Bournemouth and pick it up, but <1.5 to get home.
A272 is awesome, I feel an early morning driving meet coming on :3gears-lh

I\'ve be told I\'ll get it back on Tuesday, so I should be able to drive it from the garage right up to Dartford. (And pigs might fly)!

As for posting, that wasnt going to work. I needed to be able to get it in time to have it on for Silverstone Saturday and I cant trust delivery companies with that :(

Ill pop them out in the post at lunch time although the dartford people have them already.

At the moment though everyone who said they are coming apart from Andy P whos address I need should have a ticket.
The only exception is Ian (IIayama) who isnt in the country.
Im sure it will all be cool though, and Im glad that a nice selection of FD\'s are coming along to give the SXOC something to think about ;)

Nah you dont pay untill you get to the grandstand, so someone can turn up, then give you a call and you can just pop out of the grandstand to give them the pass.

OK cool & i\'ll have you know i am going for best US car of the show.....

Gurl i\'ll post later not entirely sure yet as i may yet need to go to the bodyshop tomorrow AM to ensure the (spare) bumpers get packed & sent as they should already of been so wana ensure they go!!!!!
Car however is looking more as it should be & only really, read lots of small finishing touches which i aint that fussed about if it get a bit tight for JAE, needs a few bits priming, then painting & polishing & & & & & &

Scooby Si: (to a confused Marc C) "So what\'s the story behind the Banzai gang then?"

Scooby Si: "Yeah - there must be some amusing story behind it..."

I thought the jugde would be pleased with the fact its got a t78 turbo, by running that you\'d think he\'d twig that everything else is done too!!!!

Nope - I don\'t think so it\'s probably for an optional changer unit. The plugs *should* fit straight on unless someone has changed your connectors for something non-standard.
What\'s connected to the stereo you\'ve got in at the moment?

Theres a few different cables running the single din at the mo, gonna take it to car electronics place to put in for me, might require new connections to make it work.

I assume you\'ve tried pulling the whole thing out and checking that it\'s not connected to some blocks (they might be stuffed away down the back somewhere)
Otherwise it sounds like whoever wired your stereo up has cut the Mazda OEM wiring blocks off and wired everything in by hand :rolleyes:

Yea, pulled everything out yesterday to see what we can see and we can\'t see much??
But yea i\'ll let the experts show me instead, prob could do with newer wiring TBH, just to tidy up the back end :)
