Crews TV - Skys Modified Car Show
Hi all,
Just a quick introduction to us here at Crews and our TV showing which is premiering this Sunday (1st April) 9pm on Sky Showcase (Channel 203)
We at CrewsVs.com have spent a lot of our time attending, photographing and filming as many local and major car meets as we physically can meeting car enthusiasts like yourselves.
Now we are at a stage to take it to the next level and bring the car modifying scene along with us!
Firstly; we are not trying to sell you anything, nor are we asking for your money, commitment to anything or to detract any members from your forum! We are only interested in your feedback on our TV show dedicated to the world of car tuning and modifying.
What is the CrewsVs UK TV show?
CrewsVs UK is the TV Show focused on all aspects of everything related to car tuning and modifying. Whether it\'s tuning cars for drag, drift, show or anything inbetween, we\'re giving it our full attention to bring it to your screens!
Why are we approaching your forum?
You guys and girls aren\'t just our audience, you\'re also who we\'re looking to include in the show.We\'ve already attended and filmed dozens of club-meets to go on the show and we want to give more uk car clubs a chance to have themselves represented as fellow enthusiasts.We\'re also aware that the show is representing the scene in the UK, which in turn includes you!
Who are "We"?
CrewsVs UK consists of a large team of people who, like you, simply enjoy cars!! Everyone from the presenters, guests, media team and web team are all just as happy as yourselves to spend countless hours trawling the forums searching for the best suspension kits and parts for our cars.
We\'ve teamed up with some of the biggest names in UK\'s tuning and modifying world to bring you the UK\'s First Modified Car TV Show.
We aim to portray the modified car community in the best possible light and dont condone any reckless or illegal activities.
The show starts on 1st April at 9pm on Sky Showcase2 (Channel 203), we hope you\'ll join us and look forward to your feedback!
For all those who do not have Sky, the TV company has agreed to stream the show live on the net at http://t.co/on3Kh6ze
First of all Welcome to Mazdarotaryclub,
We will stick this thread so people can find it after viewing the show to give you feed back, be it good or bad so this will hopefully help in your quest for a program people want to see.
Here are two events that will have many many cars in attendance that should interest yours aims for the show, and if you wish we can try and arrange with the organisers for you to come along.
Japfest 2012 - Saturday 12th May: (this is far and away the largest Japanese car event in Europe)
Rotorstock 9 - God of the Pod 18th August:
Hi Clive,
Firstly, thanks for your understanding and letting the thread remain; I do appreciate that not all forum admins are able to resist hitting the \'delete thread\' button on the blink of an eye!
The film-crew will definitley be attending Japfest. I may pm you at a later point regarding Rotorstock as we are trying to cover as much as we can at SantaPod.

Good to see you guys here.
Cheers

I thinks that\'s batmans car on here?? Engine built by Hayward rotary. Very nice car
ahh, Crews TV, welcome! I\'m waiting very patiently for the program to start!
Watched the program.
Fair play on making a program that caters to the growing modified scene!
Things I\'d have liked:
1. Prices for the drifting day, no details were given except that it was the "cheap" option.
2. 60 seconds to explain your car? Would have been nice to have one of the two presenters actually interviewing someone and asking poingiant questions rather than seeing someone get a little flustered and say "well I umm... painted the car... and I umm... eerrr... Bolted some stuff on the engine..." get them to give a little background, how they got the car, what they\'ve done to/with it.
3. Sound. The O/H said she could barely make out what was being said by various people on the show. if you could invest in a good mic/muffler it would help greatly.
Things I appreciated:
1. The tech-session with the Professor was good (nice that Rotarys got a mention! :Thumbs-up) would have been good if it stayed with engines week after week and got a little more indepth. Fitting Bodykits on the next show? That could be a seperate slot in itself.
2. The visit to the Brighton meet was great, things that are organised by communities often get overshadowed by the calendar events such as Japfest/Modified Live/etc.
Looking forward to the next one! :cheers
Balls, only just noticed the thread ! Is the program repeated ??
We are doing Oulton Park on 13th April with Mazda on Track. It will have a good variety of cars running on track.
Shaun
Repeated on Wednesday evening at 9pm, sky 203
cool :D

Well it beats watching Trinny and Susanna doing the shopping run around Dunsfold! :Hammer
What would be good is if it was a televised version of Speedhunters.
