How easy is it to change it yourself?

It seems to be the cause of my electrical problems.

Im just starting out on my vacuum hose change so i thought it would be a good time to pull it out:o

My warning lights (ABS,Coolant,Oil,Heat,Charge) randomly turn themselves on and off all at the same time, when i turn the ignition to pos2 my coolant buzzer goes off after 5 seconds, the wont start unless i open the door and push or even rock the car slightly...

I replaced the battery recently with a rx7 specific calcium battery, but still had the same problems, checked all the fuses/ground points, i read somewhere on the forums a guy had a similiar problem and it was the alternator, the rx guy i take my car to cant find out what the problems are after 2 attempts so ive decided to fix it myself and save huge labour costs.

Got a quote from jimmys for 120+vat so might go with that.
