Title: Mazdarotaryclub discounts?
Post by: GeckoGareth on July 06, 2004, 04:41:38 PM
Is there a list of insurers who offer a discount for paid up members?

Has anyone tried negotiating some kind of alliance with a company to try and get us all a decent price?

cheers

Right. It says I need to be a full member. I fully intend to become a full member as soon as I get my RX however I would like to check out the insurance prices these companies can offer before I go with adrian flux.

I think I tried AON but they said they don\'t do under 25\'s?!?

cheers

AON are also not good if you\'ve held your license less than 10 years as I found out recently!  Basically they\'re geared to drivers who have held their license > 10 years and are > 30 years old.

They came out with a quote (6k miles a year, 5 years no claims, secure parking and cat 1 alarm) of > 1800!!!!

Ended up staying with A-Plan who came out with a decent quote (nothing stunning though).

erm dunno about that as i\'m only on 4 years as was & they won hands down but it does depend on limited miles, garage, >25 & having another vehicle for a top notch quote......which happened to suit me well
