The following people are booked for track sessions.
You will also require a tickets and stand pass. please could you post along side your name if you need to still buy tickets via MRC or whether you are on the RX-8OC stand as I have already reached our ticket allocation and stand passes and if

The closing date for tickets will be this Thursday 22nd March, the reason for this is the event is heavily subscribed in terms of the number of clubs and cars atttending and therefore in order to ensure that we have sufficient stand space for all the cars, I must complete this, this week.
Please note that the tickets priced at £7.50 are for a Full Club Member only.
If you need 2 tickets please do not buy 2 x £7.50 as it means I have to go back and request the additional monies.

I have update the listing as per my first post.
We are currently at 33 tickets paid for and 19 stand passes requested.
We have currently bought just 20 tickets with 20 stand passes.
So you can see already that I need to purchase an addtional 13 tickets and stand passes.
Therefore it is important that any remaining tickets and stand passes required must be bought by this Thursday to ensure we can increase our MRC stand space

I\'ve also stuck a post up in the track time thread of Malcolm\'s and the general JapFest thread over on the RX-8OC so hopefully people will see it there if they don\'t log on here and see this one ;) .
Looking at the names list it looks as if the following people have paid for tickets via the RX8OC Malcolm Case, Ian Mothersole, Ian Jefferise, Cristina Alciata, Stewart Middleton and Will Cullum, doesn\'t look as if Aston paid for his ticket yet just a track session over on RX8OC and not sure if the others are RX8OC members or not hope that helps a little Lisa.

^^^ It\'s per car. Each stand pass will permit one car to park on a specific Car Club stand.
Lisa needs to know number of MRC stand passes, to ensure the club stand will be big enought to park up all the cars on the day.

Japfest are always late with sending them out, but hopefully I should get them in the week or so.

Is there a list for people attending but not "tracking"? or as I only booked an entry ticket do I not get a stand pass?

just thought id mention as this was brought up earlier on the RX8ocuk that japfest are having track experiences during all the sessions so 2 professionally drivers will be bombing round at the same time as us which I wasnt impressed about the OC session has now been excluded du to a annoyed phone call pointing out that it breaks there 20 car max rule and dedicated track session agreement.

Yeah and they were overtaking on the bends last year as well !! :Grrr rules did not seem to apply to them, but then again Japfest has always been dreadful for track etiquette like 10 cars stuck behind 1 slow driver who refuses to move over because hes got a trillion brake horse for the straights but slow through the corners .....then a Redbrick Honda cuts you up! ....still fun ...ish though
They were on the track at Japfest 2 last year - didnt have any problems myself, but certainly saw some questionable overtakes on car ahead of me.

Ive had this on experiance days your driving round in a 500k lambo with a 1k XS trying to enjoy it and they come hairing past on corners without warning I mean they know what there doing so its unlickly there would be an accident but its scares the sh!t out of novices like me.
If anybody did that on a normal open pit lane trackday they would be black flagged and thrown off the circuit.
I did a trackday a couple of weeks before the touring cars at Oulton Park so there was a lot of professional drivers on track practicing the racing line. It was possibly the most courteous trackday I\'ve been on without any issues. So they can do it.

I got the "bird" last japfest 1 track session coming out of quarry ! I\'d been behind a 185 bhp del la sol for 2 laps and then he let me past in the 130 bhp colt an give me the finger!!! its on you tube somewhere he had a on board cam front an rear 2 corners later i\'m gone in the distance.
Its really difficult to judge but if someones in your mirror they are quicker but if your up some it else then the driver behind should realise that ....depends how frustrated you get.......on an open pit don\'t matter pull off join q and re join. On a session very annoying!
Noticed club stand says Gate B.......That means were in main paddock area !
We are in Area D on the map on the website, hope it isn\'t a nightmare getting on track.

Should be reasonable to get on track as dont have to leave the circuit. But not in Paddock but next to Avon Rise which is the fastest part of the circuit so as we have the fastest cars its appropriate:D:D:D:D
However any queuing is going to be a nightmare as its basically the 2nd gate from both sides!!!!! So leave plenty of time! Us on track session A are in for a early start!

Any news re the BTCC cars being out in our sessions I know Graham got them removed from the RX8OC sessions.
@Booster not quite the paddock area if you look at the map on the Japfest site but the good thing is it looks as if MRC and RX8OC are once again going to be near each which in cool.

This is what we received back from Japfest:-
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your e-mail and for raising your concerns about this activity.
As we discussed on the phone previously I would like to reassure you that these drivers are 100% professional experienced drivers who are used to being on track with Novices’ and first timers. They are going out with our Novice session and did so last year and there were no complaints about dangerous driving or lack of courtesy on track from these cars.
There will be only 2 additional cars in the session with you, these are professional drivers taking out visitors to the event for a passenger ride. The drivers go into the same briefing as everyone else and must follow the same rules as all other track users.
As the drivers are so experienced and this is a feature of the event, Castle Combe allows the additional track places for this activity.
Since the concerns raised by the RX-8 OC, I have also had a talk with the drivers of these cars myself to doubly make sure that they are aware of track rules and respect all drivers on track at the same time as them and they have committed to this as it’s in their interest to do so.
At this stage I am not going to be able to pull these sessions for the passenger rides as they’ve now been booked up. However I would like to personally apologise that you were not made aware of this before, it was a last minute arrangement and I wrongly thought that this would not affect the track users since there were no problems last year.
I hope you can see that we are very sorry for this miscommunication and I can assure you it won’t happen again.
However, if they’re still not happy and some people want to get a refund for their pass then we can do that but we will have to resell these places on the day as the track time is in very high demand at Japfest.
I hope you can accept the apology and please pass this message on you your drivers.
As long as they follow the pass rule correctly I have absolutely no problem with them out on track. They should be black flagged just the same as any other driver for dangerous overtakes.

A good idea would be to have a sticker on the rear of each car to say the driver is a novice or first timer, this would be is a warning to other drivers.
This also goes with people blocking a queue of traffic on the straights. Sometimes that can be just as dangerous because it forces a dangerous overtake.

Cheers for the update Lisa so I guess that means the BTCC cars are going to be out in are session :reallymad.
It\'s not so much of an issue for me that we have pro drivers out in our session but more it was sold to us all by Japfest as a club session and not an open session to who ever wanted to book in on it. This was a great way to show off rotaries out on track, plus there is also the point that the sessions were limited to 20 cars for safety reasons and now because it suits them they are raising this to 22 and we(MRC) would have been able to fill these other spaces.
I know this isn\'t your fault Lisa but I think it is very bad of Japfest :spankto change things at the last minute and then just try make clubs except it.
Its a big show, there is huge demand for track time and they can do stuff like this. Just one of those things. Some of the rotors out there may want the BTCC cars to get out of the way (not mine !). Anybody know if they are running slicks as well ?

I know Graham got them removed from both of our RX8OC sessions due to it not being in the contact that he had with Japfest.
I say let them out first then we can hunt em down and scalp em !!! Rotor versus piston!!!........only joking prob gonna get lapped now......
