Can I use a standard apexi power fc on an automatic transmission model?

Yes you can. You may have some problems with the hold function though, it seems to vary from car to car. OJ and Bri are the best people to comment...

Yeah you can. you have intermiitent issues with the hold function though. Sometimes I drive mine for 3 days with no issues and at other times after 5 minutes the hold light starts flashing. Just need to turn off and back on and all is normal again. Also the timing might need tweaking I didn\'t on mine mind you but the stock auto retards timing at gear changes but the apexi doesn\'t.
You notice a big diffeence when putting one on a auto more so compared to the manual.

overall would you recommend it?

How much should I be paying for one? I\'ve seen a few post\'s recently but the price seem to vary considerably.
