Title: Dragon performance pulley kit!!
Post by: mattinsRX7 on March 11, 2012, 08:55:52 PM
I purchased the new dragon performance pulley kit of eBay. It looks great buti have been told the water pump pulley slips at higher revs. I have seen loads of single turbo rx\'s with the similar setup so I wouldn\'t of thought it could be that much of a problem. Can anyone advise me? Should I go back to standard pulleys?

Cheers
Aron

If you have removed the air pump you should run a twin alt pulley setup to avoid belt slippage, what does the pulley kit have in it?

Yeah I\'ve had a look at them idler pulleys from dm but there currently out of stock. My kit is just the rotor shaped alt pulley and water pump pulley which is a lot bigger than the stock one, which gives a lot more grip on the new belt.
