hi any of you guys installed underbody neons if so you got any pics of where you positioned them as im a bit worried of having to drill in to the floor to fix the brackets on thanks
Noooooooooooo ! don\'t do it :rollin
and OJ stay out of it :D
ha ha its gotta be done i have a thing for lighty upe shiny gadgetry things .plus in max power statistics they have to be good for at least 30bhp lol(and if i add a sticker thats another 10 bhp )
i like the interior ones
perhaps the under body ones would look ok on a Rex but it would have to be a kitted rex other wise they would show and look daft
make sure you hide the bulbs out of sight
someone with an answer to your question should be along shortly
:rollin
plz dont...... saxo, nova, big exhausts.......... sound familiar, ure rex lights itself up dude!!!!:wave
Gaz, pleasseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hate to say it but that does look quite fruity, certainly compared with the usual 1 colour obvious shyte.....
Sure OJ has a muticoloured variety (dont tell him i sent you but we\'ll have to ask for a display of his bits)

lol
Si
PS him bad fello thou driving on roads with \'em on & video did look a bit edited or shot in a certain way to make the lighting look favourable (Read Si has to defend it looking OK sumhow

lol)
Ullo!!!!
Gaz - follw the path to true enlightenment! And don\'t listen to these cardigan wearers. These guys can\'t even type (check out ZitPilot - that isn\'t how you spell "no please!", he can\'t even take his keys off the keyboard, so won\'t understand the delicate poise and grace of a scrolling multicoloured lighting feature...
Righto, fixing said neons. First thing - there is a lip on the sides under the car the neons can be fixed behind. My one\'s came with crappy little zip tie fixings. I changed this, and bolted the lights directly to the car. I wouldn\'t worry too much about drilling through the bottom of the car - but you only need small screws as there is only a single skin of metal for the bottom of the car. pull back the carpets and have a butchers!
Also, there are a couple of grommets under the rear seats that can be used to pass the wires into the car without cutting big holes into the body.
Hope that all helps.
Cheers
OJ
I have an superb set of black neons, they were free with the car and they look especially good on bright days, although they do seem to move around a bit depending on where the sun is.:rollin

Why would he want to do that then?
:D
hi archbish
so where did you get the brackets for your neons only mine are a bit big so u see the neon hanging at the bottom of the car which if im right in thinking u can not see yours unless there on
I fitted smaller neons to front splitter and rear skirt. Got loads of stick, but my sex life improved by at least 50% (allowing for seasonal trends)
Also just got some illuminated valve covers, and ive wired up the side markers.
The car looks like a christmas tree but i\'m the envy of every boy racers who\'s allowed out after dark.
I fitted my green led neons about 6 months ago now. Nightmare of a job as my aftermarket bodykit didnt make things easy. After a couple days work wiring them up to the pulse box I was well chuffed! Havent actually used them yet tho! :p
wel, as the ends of the neons were little more than empty tubes filled with sealant, I carefully drilled through the sealant, avoiding any cabling, backed it with more sealant, and put a screw straight through it. Works a treat, and they do look cool... *grin*
You might want to place them an inch or two further inside, away from the lips to get a wider light throw, but they look great!!! Even those who don\'t like them (you know, the cardigan wearers with small willy\'s) have to admit they are effective!!
and ive wired up the side markers. ???
OK confused now !
but on the topic - i like neons :)
we guna get sum good displays, OJ\'s absence aside, at JAE then? (read Si cant remember seeing any of them at rotorstock but that maybe a beer memory strike

)
Si (knitting cardies for all the haters
