Title: FC3 Audio
Post by: markwarner1 on February 20, 2012, 12:53:16 PM
Hi All,

Now back with my F plate TII and have found that most of the speakers are either blown or not working. Anyone replaced these, are they straightforward?  I have 2 standard speakers in each door + what look like tweeters on the dash.

Also apparently there is an amp wired in already (behind the head unit). There is a set of wires and a connector under each seat, not sure exactly what these are for though! Are these standard?

Any advice much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Mark

i think rears were 8" (sits on strut towers)
fronts i cant remember what size but i just ran new wires into the headunit.
simple job.
Found all the \'foam / rubber\' had disintegrated off the factory speakers.

I really want to sort mine out but somewhere along it\'s life someone in there infinite wisdom has cut all the wiring around the connectors, it\'s another of those things that are on my list of joba to do when I have some spare change.
