Title: RE-AM GT Kit - Spacer Queries
Post by: matthewbellamy on February 17, 2012, 04:19:43 PM
Hey guys

Need to know some info regarding the RE-AM GT Kit..

Ive noticed its quite a wide kit so would need spacers on each wheel to make it sit flush in the arches, can anyone reccomend me what size spacers i will need front and rear and where i can purchase them from?

Well to start with, you\'ll need to confirm, how much wider the kit is... prob 20 / 25mm at least... then of course you could use spacers.....  or indeed, you could man up and go for the right wheel width / size to fit the kit / car and give the presence / stance you want :)

If you do go down the spacer route..... you\'ll be wanting to go here and get a couple of sets, alot of us use them, top quality, specs and price :)

Just buy the widest, strongest fitment wheels you can and worry about them fitting later.

My wheels plus different offset makes mine 53mm further out on the rear compared to stock - thats supposed to be the +20 kit

I have the kit, and runnin 12X18 ET +25 in the rear and 11x18 ET +3 in the front, not sure if the ET is 100% correct or not. But i know i could have run same wheels in the front as well.
