Looks like the head gasket has gone on the wife\'s Corsa.

Local mechanic £500.00 ish, could be more

Main agent £1,000.00 ish could be more

Wow..................................

We\'ve had this from new, you can never be sure what state a second hand engine is in.

Would that be a corsa c still if so it\'s really an easy job buddy the only real hard bit is removing the exhaust manifold

Also why do you think the headgasket has gone if it\'s a case of oil and eater mixing check te heat exchanger

I think the model is 1.2 twin sxi, or something like that.

Quite a bit of emulsion on the filler cap and dip stick and it\'s using a fair bit of water.

Those engines are crap, a local trader mate of mine has just replaced one in a 36k mile car :censored:.  A used engine is cheaper but you never know what you could be getting plus most of this type of car have been abused by young drivers. On the upside it\'ll be cheaper to repair than to change the car.
