Hi guys
Ok where to start.. i bought my 1992 K reg Mazda RX7 Type R Special Edition (as its wrote on the door pillar) from a young lad in Wales after selling my previous car, a Ford Fiesta ST..

Ever since i was a child i dreamt of owning an RX7 and my dream has most certainly come true as i now have one pride of place on my drive.. Its in black which was the colour i wanted although it had been resprayed in BMW metallic black pearlescent by the previous owner to the lad..and huge carbon halfords wing (looked cheap)

When i had my first drive in it I was a little aprehensive at first as it was alot faster than any other car ive ever driven so to me this was my first experience.. the test drive went well except for some minor issues regarding the boost problems but was advised by a friendly member off the forum who knew the car very well and said it was recently rebuilt and with good parts better than standard and looking through the receipts in the folder i received the money spent on the car was in 5 figures..
Anywho the first thing i did was pay over my 4k and took it down to WGT and met a guy called Pip who most of you know and his advice was second to none..he was straight in there and knew exactly the problem, the sparkplugs were corroded and the HT leads were as same condition too..this was quickly fixed using Magnecor racing leads and has now ever since been running more smoothly and i think how an RX7 should feel..
Visual wise there are more than a fgew scratches and trolley dents along the side of the door, the kind of condition you would expect from being owned by a young lad i suppose, however this is all being rectified. :spank
I guess the reason why im making this thread is a sort of before and after look at how the car is progressing inside and out to either provide inspiration or just for you people who have given 5 minutes of their life so far just to read this thread..for which i thank you!
As for the future plans for the car, i have many! so you will just have to be patient whilst i update the thread as much as i can.. for now i need to refurb/replace most of the panels and even respray if required to get it to the standard id expect of an FD before i can add any of the mods i have recently bought for her...so far i have installed/have to install/waiting to purchase..
