Title: fc turbo 1990 front wishbone change
Post by: billybobbooth on February 09, 2012, 05:24:19 PM
hi guys just a quick question is it worth changing the front wishbones on my 1990 rx7 fc turbo 2 to the earlyer ones so you can change the ball joint inderpendanly front the arm?

reason i ask is ive polybushed all my arms and some custom ones for the back but dont really want the expence of new arms just for the ball joint. i have pare arms but would just rather be able to have new parts. reason to do it now is the polybushed one haven been fitted so wouldnt be hard to do.

thanks as always.

There is nothing wrong with the wishbones you sold or my current ones its a case of once both sets are shot ill need new ones. And i wanted to know if the changeable wishbones fit or are better or worse. Only thing i can see is they may not be as strong in a crash. But if i crash there will be more to worry about than a wishbone.
Yes mate if your still ok to hold it. I know its been a while im just trying to juggle keeping the misses happy coz of paying for wedding and getting parts off you for the car.
