Wondering if there is going to be a Brighton meet in early 2012 like the last couple of years? I went to the meet last year and was a really good turn out with plenty of nice cars. Is it happening this year?

Yeh i\'m sure we can sort another one out in the spring. Maybe change the route a little to include the new hindhead tunnel which we been having fun in at the Guildford meets last year :D

As Adam say\'s, yes there will be another as quite a few have asked me already and this year we would make it across all three Rotary clubs because the RX8OC have several runs like this during the year and most of there main members are MRC members as well anyway :D
Should be a good year this year with our three main events penned in and over the moon about the fact that we should have 3 possibly 4 rotary sessions at Japfest with some very interesting cars coming out to play, plus our track day season thats being put together, if we have a couple of "road runs" as well it will be a great 2012

Yeah wasn\'t my best way to introduce myself to the rotary community! Had my mate driving my car as wouldn\'t have made it otherwise.
Including the hindhead tunnel sounds a good idea. Want to try and attend a few more meets this year.
Brighton Run would be awesome... I really enjoyed the last two... even if last years was gone with a limited use of 4000RPM

We are starting in Guildford at 10am in the big tesco\'s by the A3.
Post code GU2 7UN
So here\'s the route we\'ll be following...
•From Tesco\'s we\'ll join the A3 southbound (Portsmouth) to the Milford junction to join up with the A283 (Passed T.W.Whites )
•Then follow the A283 towards Petworth
•At Petworth continue along the A283 till we get to Fittleworth and the B2138
•South on the B2138 to the A29
•Following this up Bury Hill we will Stop at the rest spot by the roundabout for the A29, A284 and B2139 - chance to stretch your legs
We\'ll stop here for a while, have a chat and let anyone who\'s been left behind due to any traffic lights/junctions or whatever to catch up.
•After our short stop we\'ll take the B2139 off the roundabout towards Storrington and join the A283
•Along the A283 to Bramber and then onto the A2037 at Upper Beeding
•North on the A2037 till we get to the A281
•East on the A281 till we join up with the A23
•South on the A23 till the A27
•East on the A27 passed Brighton till the junction of the B2123 (Sussex University)
•Follow the B2123 south to the A259.
•East on the A259 to Peacehaven and the pub is on the main road
Only thing though Madeira Drive is not the destination above so this needs modifying so I would suggest photo\'s here and then off to the pub as some people did not want to park or pay at Madeira Drive last year

Seriously the first year we went up to the pub that overlooked the sea and it wasn\'t as disjointed as last year, so perhaps arrive at Maderia drive for pics and a chat then off to the pub for food

Knew that date sound a little familiar guess it was down to the Tunnel Run the night before, can\'t seeing me doing both and as I\'ve already got my name down for the Tunnel Run I\'ll be doing that. If the date changes and I can make I\'ll be up for a run down to the seaside as there always fun.
I know Tom(madder) is also down for the Tunnel Run so don\'t know if he\'ll make both.

I realise i\'ve not been on here as much lately so Clive if you want to organise this then thats fine. I\'ve got a lot goig on at the moment anyway and with my shifts its not always easy to get a Sunday off to do this.
Those were my maps and route from the first run we did and yes it was better to end up at a pub rather than maderia drive like we did last year. That way people dont seperate off and we miss meeting everyone.
I would suggest trying to fit in going through the Hindhead tunnel now as its a right balst and with loads of Rotorheads pushing the revs it sounds incredible.
Maybe head up that way and come back (so go both ways) to the Milford junction to then carry on the route as usual
As for a date. You sort one and i\'ll see if i can make it

I am kind of easy... if it ends up being the 11th then ill try...
I can cope with the lack of sleep Nigel its the bit inbetween called getting up after not a lot of sleep that messed me up.
Ideally late March would be good... some time after the RX8OC AGM... we may also get some more 7\'s there by then as hopefully the weather is getting better... we know the FD boys dont like getting their cars wet if they can help it :P... joking
