Bought a pair of fake Re-A sleek headlights off a user on here, they look great
But for some reason I can\'t get them to sit flush with the bonnet.
Any ideas how I can get around this? Thanks!
pics will help:yes:Thumbs-up
I know you said they are the fake ones but I have to say if they are proper flush lights then you need to get the grinder out cause there really is no room in there - dont be shy now! lol
absolute bugger to fit have r-majic sleak got pics of fitting
Lol no way im getting my grinder out, knowing me i might grind off too much and they will be looser than a.... er loose thing (got to be pc on here..ahem.. ANYWAY i will get some pics posted up in a jiffy

you\'ve gotta sort them out and make them line up properly! :O
I know terrible arent they :(
Break out the dremel :)
Is there anymore adjustment on the mounting brackets?
Hi Lee :) No there doesnt seem to be any more adjustment on the brackets themselves they are far as they will go.. look alright from a distance but close up they dont look that great at al..wish i saved up for the real ones :(
I had the same problem with my lights and just used some self tappers into the base of the lights to allow for more adjustment.hth
Im assuming the lights would sit down further if there was more adjustment in the bracket.
I wound the adjustments in a fair bit on my lights to help with the clearance. Just make sure you leave a little more room to allow for any light adjustment come mot time and so they don\'t rub when the covers go on. Cut some metal out to allow the lights themselves to sit further back. Remember you can always cut more out :)
Too scared ill mess it up, anyone want to come down and help me?
The fakes I had did not need any metal cutting out of the car.
If you remove the side bracket will they sit down further? or is it the metal on the car stopping them going down?
i bought a set of the sleek lights from bally they where laeeqs ones and yes you have to cut abit as the outer bulb has not got space to sit. you only need to cut a bit of metal. i grinded abit of the metal and then it sat perfect.
Right well I\'m hearing the only way is to cut into metal to make them fit so I guess that\'s the only route I have..anyone fancy giving a lad some help pls??
Are yours hitting the metalwork underneath the lights?
but the way yours is sitting i think it just needs adjucting
