Title: Looking for Alloy wheel refurbisher - any recommendations please?
Post by: rx7.eu on February 02, 2012, 05:23:13 PM
Hi guys,

Bought myself a set of original second-hand RX7 FD3S 16x8 alloys, and I would like to take them to a professional refurbisher locally if possible, I live in Horton near Slough and work south of Reading so anywhere between would be nice.

Anyone can recommend where I should go please?

Ideally I would like them white with red edges :cool

Ta
Gavin

Thanks Steve, I was also suggested by someone to look at prestine wheels in Milton Keynes. Bit far to be honest. I sent them a message asking for a quote.

They did a fab job on 2 FB wheels for me. You might be best finding their local agent \'cos that\'s how they work.

I recently had some Type RZ BBS wheels refurbished at The Wheel Specialist (http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/).
They have 12 locations nationwide.
Initially, when I took the wheels there I was a little apprehensive about getting the polished lips powder coated, but they did a brilliant job of matching the original colours and appearance
Hopefully the powder coating should be a bit more hard wearing and weather resistant than the original lacquer too.
