the Montrose?
6 days to go, please make sure you make your donation on the just giving site if you wish to take part.
By the way, from previous experience (not to say its you guys, I\'m posting this on all the forums I\'m posting on) we always get a few that turn up but make no donation and just tag along, as this is a charity event (and cheaper than a lot of static events) we feel this is quite unfair to see people take advantage this way. This is why, if we see anyone who is just tagging along this time, we will take down numberplates and name and shame them. We feel this would be particularly effective this time due to the amount of coverage we are getting now. So please guys and girls, make the donation and don\'t be a douche and just tag along!
Thanks!
There\'s a few of us going from the RX8OC 13 at last count with only 2 still to paid hint hint Aston, if you guys want to join us seeing as there is only a couple of you that\'d be cool just let us know and I\'ll add you to our list.
We\'re planning on meeting at Thurruck Services for 20.30 and then bimbling round to the arena for 9ish :3gears-lh.

Where were the police last time?
well banzai told us they were supose to be supporting it but when we got to white ferrys myself and a few rx8s were basically told by two coppers that if we didnt leave right that second we\'d be arrested and our cars confiscated . then after that near tooley st tunnel two traffic units were stopping every modded car and taking there maps and telling people to f off and go home . so we did
Not so good a night then :(.
I don\'t remember the westferry ones, but I do remember the tooley street one, both had no right to do what they did, we asked the MET afterwards and we were told that those particular police officers had rods so far up their backsides it was messing with their dulong oblongata (anyone remember the waterboy?).
As long as you weren\'t doing anything illegal, they had no reason to threaten you, and they certainly had no right to take the map away.
im gonna be at this !! hope to see some members from here!
any members coming from milton keynes way? i have around about 12 cars heading down from where i am..
Yay, i have convinced my dad to go. It will be our first time and i have been waiting for years.
All booked and paid for, we wont be in the rex as it isn\'t currently on the road so we are going in the mx5 instead, we may not have a loud zorst but have turbo noises to compensate :driving
My genuine heartfelt thanks to those of you that have donated and are coming, looking at the Justgiving site, we are due another rather large turnout, not as big as before, but its still going to be something to contend with!
The MissBanzai London Tunnel run is only 20 hours away, open to all Japanese cars, over 280 people signed up so far, if you wish to sign up and join in, please go to http://www.justgiving.com/MissBanzai2012 and donate your £8 before 1300hrs (that\'s 1pm) today!
The official MissBanzai photos will be posted up on missbanzai.com at some point when people have recovered and have time, meanwhile, please feel free to go over and add any of your own photos or footage of the night on the existing picture thread.
Thanks, see you at the next one!

Sean...
Great pics... I brought a Canon 600D SLR jobby out with me that night. I couldnt get pictures anywhere near like yours. I didnt use the flash which seemed to work better than with (much better). Is there a good base setting you use for night shots like the stunning ones you have taken?
Ta
Had a absolutely brilliant night, we went in the mad mx5 BBR Turbo as the rex isn\'t on the road yet but got some good whistles and whooshes and plenty of wiggly bum :3gears-rh
And Skifledanabit i saw you fc and it was very nice indeed, snap off bosses are so cool :D

Hi Ta ;)
I used by Canon 60D, EFS 17-85mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM Lens and very little skill! :)
A Tripod is essential, as exposures are too lengthy to hand-hold; some of Aston\'s car are handheld - and breath held(!), with flash.
I used 2-second timer mode to make sure no movement on tripod after hitting the release.
I actually left most in "P"rogram mode, as I couldn\'t be bothered fiddling with Aperture Priority (Av) , Shutter Priority (Tv) or Manual(!) modes!
However, I also resorted to Manual focusing as camera hunts a bit with autofocus and low light. Then I forgot it was in manual focus, but got real lucky with a load of shots still seems focus point is OK!
Most were without flash - built in flash not powerful enough (More £££ required for decent remote flash(es)!).
The midnight Rexes one was a 30-second Shutter Priority.
ISO was on auto - so probably a fair few 3200s in there, for less noisy shots you may need to fix ISO lower (e.g. 800) which will double exposure time for every step-down.
There\'s an excellent book called "Understanding Exposure" (2nd ed.) where I picked most of this up from, and have rather surprised myself at the results! :D
