Hi folks, been a registered user on here since 2010 but only in the last 2 weeks have I entered the world of Rotary! I recently purchased my FD3 from Graham “Mulv”, off the site. Real decent spud, met me in Liverpool and after missing the boat, drove through Holyhead and Dublin and got her home to Belfast! Once I got the car home I spent the next few days in the garage giving it a good going over and clean (as I do with all my cars so I know them inside out) and it has to be said, the car is as clean a one as I could ever have hoped to get hold of, so credit to the 2 previous club owners! This weekend I took the car to a local rotary specialist in Lurgan Co. Armagh (NI) – RotorWorks (Glen Wilson) who is a top bloke and did a fantastic and very thorough inspection and service for me so if he is on here, thanks Glen, very impressed! I got a few pleasant surprises from the inspection, firstly it was supposed but no proof that the car has had a rebuild. I can confirm that this is the case after inspection the car produced compression results of 8.1/8.2/8.0 Front Rotor, 8.0/7.9/8.0 Rear Rotor and Glen confirmed the rebuild due to telltale signs on and around the engine e.g different sealant used and obvious compression results. Also there had been comments made about the age of the car and its state in terms of rust from road salt and its underside, I can confirm that the car was properly and well under-sealed and there is no rust whatsoever underneath and it was commented upon how clean the car was by Glen and that it has been a well cared for car all its life. I suppose therefore that this is a very long winded thank you to Graham and the previous owner before him for passing a car of exemplary condition to my care and so far, I have loved every minute of Rotary ownership and it is looking like there is much more to come!
So yea, Hi!
Niall

Thanks very much man, glad to be on the board now! And btw, Northern Ireland is part of the UK! lol
hehe, just seen this.....
Glad to see you are enjoying her. Glad it\'s all good compression wise as I thought that would be the case.
Look after her and also enjoy her, I\'ll be checking in from time to time, but its off to Oz in 5 months as I now have a concrete job offer.....
Have fun
