Title: Greddy Emanage Blue ECU and harness
Post by: 123tom123tom on January 25, 2012, 08:21:42 PM
Hi there, I have the above for sale as I have just bought a Apexi PFC upgrade.

This is a plug and play item already to be plugged straight in and mapped? This is a good addition for anyone just wanting to map fuel and air settings on twin setup for a bit more power...

It can help iron out those kinks when you have fitted decats etc without the expense of a apexi PFC

Greddy e-Manage is an inexpensive programmable fuel management system that allows you to properly tune your factory fuel system without having to change the entire factory ECU system to an expensive "stand-alone" unit

PRICE £150

It is direct fitment for my 1993 fd but it fits 91-95, below actual pics of ecu

Free bump for a useful bit of kit considering it has the harness as well

Hey! Just a couple questions, is the ECU already mapped? As i was thinking of putting a HKS silent power exhaust plus de-cat, obviously without blowing up the engine and sending a boost spike to cause damage..so if i plugged this in would it be mapped perfectly for the decat? Also how do you tune the ecu for the fuel and air settings? Does this replace the old standard ECU or is it a piggybacked? What typical gains are you likely to expect?

gains can only be guessed by modifications that you have put on the car??? you need to have the ecu mapped by a tuner....they will just plug into it and map it.

Also it is a piggy back not a standalone... what this does is allow you to tune your car to use the mods you have done i.e decat, exhaust and filter etc more efficiently and see proper gains from your modifications.... people think just banging bolt on parts makethe car faster, although you might see slight improvement in bhp any tuner will tell you to get the best out your car and the bolt on parts the car needs mapping to suit...
This allow you to do this but without the massive expense

long winded i know lol

Ive often wondered if i was to put on my new decat and exhaust and travelled 50 miles to WGT to get it mapped (my local rotary place) that my engine wouldnt explode as i just worry about putting all these mods on and something big like the decat may cause further damage i cant afford to rectify..Do you think if i was to put the mods on and drove that 50 miles to WGT the car would be alright until he could map and install that ecu?

As long as you drive off boost to Pips it will be fine, I run the emanage on my FD mapped by Pip.

Chopper2k22 - I\'ll just have to drive with a gentle foot making sure i dont engage the dump valve too often i guess.. How much was the map from Pip if you dont mind me asking? Just that WGT is the reputable garage i go to :)

123tom123tom - lol that is scary! id love to get mine converted to a single have you noticed any difference as yet?

good for any car n/a or turbo just allows you to make adjustments to the fueling, it is a good addition to any car if you have the standard ecu and dont want to fork out for a standalone.....

they are a brilliant bit of kit, i used one of these on my supra t70 single turbo and it was mapped perfect
