So I had an unfortunate encounter last week with the van and Cyprus police, to cut a long story short the van wasn\'t cleared properly at customs (by the customs clearing agent) when I imported it, so it was classed as \'illegally in Cyprus\' this resulted in it being impounded. As some of you know I run a retro/modern furniture shop over here, last week a guy ordered 4 chairs and needed them or tomorrow, this would have been fine until the van was taken.
So the only mode of transportation I have is the RX-7.
Fortunately the chairs come in 2 parts, the tips and the bases, I managed to squeeze the 4 tops behind the passenger seat...

And the bases in the boot, I was impressed actually I wast sure I\'d be able to do it.

I have to say I expected horrendous fuel economy but at a normal 70 I\'ve done around a hundred mile round trip and the fuel gauge hasn\'t moved much, what I\'m saying is its used less than quarter of a tank, which can\'t be that bad?
Never thought I\'d see the day I used the FC for delivering furniture :Giggle
Just thought I\'d share the story.
ha excellent... my family are from cyprus... st johns area of limassol.... not there anymore tho :(
"express delivery" lol
if you dont need front seat then take it out (obviously not driver side lol) so much more room if take passenger seat out.
Yeah the mrs doesn\'t want me to start taking the interior out, because once I start I can\'t seem to stop. :Giggle
