Do all 4 lights get brighter under braking? Is it it just 2?
Only one of mine is working, are there separate bulbs or is it a single bulb for each light?

UK cars only use the outer 2 lights for break lights, although all 4 bulb positions have dual filament bulb holders, only the lower wattage filament is wired on the inner 2 lights.
I actually converted mine to run as fog lights, so that I could have 2 reversing lights instead.
Ah okay, it\'s odd that all 4 lights work but only one brake light. I thought when a bulb was blown it just wouldn\'t work, I\'ll see if Mazda have one in stock.

Those outer lights have 2 seperate filaments - so one can blow whilst the other is still working. It\'s quite common to lose the brake ligjht filament first:
- It\'s higher wattage and therefore higher current (21W as opposed to 5W)
- It\'s being pulsed on and off, whereas the sidelights tend to just be turned on and then off much later, plus you only use sidelights at night - brake lights are used all the time on and off.
Ah well that explains it, not sure how some of us FC owners would survive without you mate.
