Post by: shifty on January 15, 2012, 02:39:24 PM
I was wondering if anyone has used these yet as I have a spare set of rims I want to equip with some track day tyres I would like some R888\'s but there stupid money and camskils are doing the R!R on special atm.

They\'re pretty good, they were designed for Mitsubishi Evos but they\'re a bit less focussed than an R888.  Unless they\'re cheaper than Federal 595 RS-Rs then I would get the Federals.

Is this on 18x8 rims?  If so then go for 235/40R18s, the Federals are £133 a corner.

In that case you\'re probably on the right track with the R1Rs then, although I reckon the Yokohama AD08s will probably last longer!
