Title: Finally managed to dyno (sort of)
Post by: royston1xx on June 30, 2004, 06:18:39 PM
I finally managed to get my car on the rollers at g-force today, but couldn\'t go beyond 5800rpm as the bloody clutch started slipping badly which also made the boost drop off,so chris aborted the run to save frying it completely.New clutch on order and back to try again soon:)

The attachment in the first post is rear wheel hp and the chart that actually came out properly that shows in the second post is flywheel hp.Im not sure what i did wrong but only one of the 3 charts came out directly on screen, the other 2 came out as downloadable attachments.:(

Wow and you are only running 1200cc secondaries, what boost was that running?

Boost was at 16psi from 4400 to about 5350rpm then started dropping to 13 by 5800rpm because the clutch wasn\'t able to hold the power which is why the run ended early at 5800rpm instead of around 7500rpm.I will re-dyno when i get a new clutch to find out how much more is in her before i fit my new turbo.

Just 16psi! wow 35Rs are good for 18psi with the right fuelling so a lot left in her when u get the clutch in, be very interesting when u re-dyno.

Hold on just re read ur last post, another new turbo!! 35R not big enough lol? whats the next new turbo you going for Roy?
