Title: To good to be true?
Post by: B.Martin on December 12, 2011, 09:25:05 PM
Found this apexi filter kit for the FC on eBay, item #230694735800 would the eagle eyed members check it out? Seems to good to be true, genuine apexi filter kit for £18.99 (+18.99 p&p) just seems a bit reasonable? I\'ve sent an email asking for clarification on authenticity so once I hear back let people know, I\'m just weary because it\'s from HK.

Opinions please?

http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/engine-and-performance/349923-beware-of-fake-apexi-power-intake-dual-funnel-filter-in-the-market.html

Its fake looking at where the filter attaches to the base.

Still be interesting to hear what reply you get back and see if they try and pass it off as genuine :D

They are fakes guys, the seller responded saying they are a copy. I had a feeling this would be the case to be honest.
