I have the same problem I read some where you can drill the stops off the seat runners and it gives 2 to 3 inchs more movement,

any idea where you read this? by drilling the stops out would this not make the seat go back and off the rail?? sounds promissing tho.....

sorry mate I can\'t remember, you have to remove the seat from the car and on the runners there are pressed in dimples to stop them going back drill this out and the seat will move back you may also have to cut a slot in the runner for the seat positioner to slot into.
The seat will hit the back seat before it comes off,
Cheers

dunno if im missing something bud, the one near the handbrake was really easy, just drill out the dimple, the one near the door however had a dimple and a kinda flat head bolt, drilled both out and still wont go all the way back... wondering if there is something internal on that rail

Hi mate, had a go at it yesterday on one rail I think the one closest to the door there is a dimple pressed into the rail and a silver steel rivit about 2 inchs in front of that, drill the rivit out.
on the other rail there is just a pressed dimple, drill this out.
Before you drill any thing with the seat out slide the rail back as if the seat was as far back as it can go you will see that you still have 4 to 5 noctchs that the seat could travel back, when I drilled out the stops the seat rails would still not go back at which point frustrastion kicked in and with some ramming movement back and forward they when\'t back to the last notch, becareful not ram it back and forth to hard or one of the rollers will come out.
Now the problem is when you get the runner back the runner will only go halfway forward again which makes it  a bit harder to get the back bolts in.
All in its worth doing what a differance an inch makes, excuse the pun, I went for a drive and didn\'t need the seat reclined right back to fit behind the wheel a much more comfortable drive.
Cheers

If at first you don\'t succeed then ram it harder, but don\'t break it
