Title: FD Towing
Post by: Mikey22 on November 20, 2011, 04:28:41 PM
Hey Everyone,

Right ive got a bit of a problem. Now i know that Towing any Rotary is a very big NO NO! probs why they dont have a towing eye. Well not one that ive been able to locate.

No i dont need to tow the car however ive not been able to start it so i started stripping the engine. However now i have to transport it to my mates who has a professional lift so i can finish the job.

Now my mate also has a trailer but im trying to come up with ideas on how to get the car onto the trailer. The car is a 92 Efini Auto so im stuck a little there. Ill have to engage neutral to even move it.

Any ideas where i could attatch a rope to so i could move it?

Cheers everyone

there is towing eyes on an fd, 2 at the rear and 1 at the front. if you have an aftermarket front bumper it will be way easier to use the rear ones, thats what i did with mine when i bought it to get it onto the back of a breakdown truck
