Title: FD for trackday and drift?
Post by: ske on November 07, 2011, 10:23:22 PM
Hi ,

initially i was looking at an Fb, to turn into a race car/track car.  But having just spent 2 years on having my Ginetta rebuilt, i think i will prefer a car i can buy and just drive

So i think the FD is maybe the way to go!

My plan would be a road car that i can use for track/drift

Id like to know if a pretty much standard FD will be ok as a drift(and track) car as it is? They have LSD and good brakes, might just need aftermarket coil-over kit.

I dont want to have to spend much on upgrades etc.. So am i thinking along the right lines?

many thanks

ive also noticed in pics thread, where cars have been lowered alot, the front negative camber seems very much increased.  can this cause a problem with handling?
