A little chat about alloys, namely jdm alloys, ssr, work, volk, bbs even!

I just dont get it :Laugh, some of the prices they are going for (and selling) 2nd is just :Laughable!

Is it just because they are jdm?

Its JDM tax. The wheels are quite fairly priced in Japan but as soon as they come here people some how believe they are worth 3 times more than a normal 2nd hand wheel.

depends on various things.
they its uk seller then some are cheap.. if they imported then depends on:
where they buy from (if they buy a bargain or not), selling price in japan (some people sell expensive in hope that the buyer will be like "ooh shiney, i must have them!" / pray on people with more money than sense)
shipping cost, import cost, exchange rate etc..

dont forget that theres not only uk buyers buying from japan, you get malaysian people, american, australian etc all competing for the same things so keeps prices up in japan.
