Will be a turbo i will be putting on once engine has blown.
What is needed as i will like to pretty much shop now and collect parts slowly and place them in the house.
I would be running Bridgeport and would like to have 500-550hp range.
Would like to know the list a need:
Sard fuel pump 280l (Done)
Injector size?
Clutch? (using ACT 6 puck clutch kit, this ok?)
Intercooler/radiator? (want to ran V-mount, does any radiator be ok for v-mount or only a few?)
Boost con.
Anything else i would need?
2 x 1680 Bosch injectors, top feed and fuel rail.
Fuel filter chanelge if it hasn\'t been done
A twin plate clutch of some description, OS Giken
There are a few places that do v mounts just ring around or you could make your own quite easily.
Thanks, another thing i want to ask is it runs the wastegate when installed, does that mean u remove your exciting atmospheric dump valve or just recirculate them back?
Your dump valves will get thrown in the bin along with all the other crap that comes with the standard twins.
If you want to have a dump valve then I suggest you run a non ported shroud cover( I\'m not sure if these turbos do or don\'t have different compressor housings) and install a turbo smart race port dump valve. Just google it to see what I\'m talking about, they\'re huge.
Alternatively you can give AET turbos a ring and they will tell you prices etc of the race port. I thi I they\'re around £300

I
ACT Clutch is Fine mate.
With this turbo you will need the manifold to go with it and one of their own wastegates so it all bolts together nice and simple.
I\'m running a Tial 60mm wastegate with my BW s366 turbo. It I have to chop and weld my fanimold to suite the Tial wastegate.
You\'ve got most of right,
Clutch won\'t last long unless you get a twin plate cerametallic or triple carbon at that power level.
As Grant said 1680cc secondaries, stock primaries, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and good V mount will work well and Tial 60mm wastegate or the original HKS one that comes with the T51r Kit.
Apexi ecu.
i know people....me included, who have this clutch (ACT 6 PUCK) with 450hp+ ATW and its fine

I have a hks ssqv, not sure on the turbo smart ones as want to stick to jap parts...

Twin plates i have owned but a triple plate? car will mainly be for street use, i guess this is much harder to use then the twin plate? as i still stall from time to time and scared of hill starts on my twin :D
A triple plate carbon won\'t be heavy under foot, I have used a single plate carbon and it was as light as a feather!

Big turbos require big BOVs IMO, Tial do a large BOV too.
I personally won\'t be running a BOV but a may change turbos front cover to a non ported shroud so I can run a large BOV to see if there is any advantage to using one. Got to get the car built first though.

I had the Excedy twin now the ACT and both feels like the same stiffness, i thou i triple will be worse and a nightmare on road and traffic use :3Confused

I might just buy another hks one and weld 2 on but still early stages...

Would the Sard 1000cc be ok? if so what Impedance is needed? (High or Low?)
ACT clutch will be fine, I\'ve made over 440ft lbs of torque with one. For drag racing a twin-plate would be ideal. 280lph fuel pump isn\'t enough for 550hp, nor are 1680cc injectors. I would get the ID2000s(2200cc) and stock primaries. You are talking about 550rwhp, correct, and not 550BHP? I assume rwhp since you are using such a large turbo, be silly to run it at 550BHP...

Hm.... everyone has different sayings on fuel pumps but i have left the 280 in place and using the standard collector as its much larger than the sard.
Do u mean 2x2200cc on stock primaries?
Whats the diff with rwhp and bhp?
It\'s time for me to get this built setup soon so buying parts slowly and gathering them up. Set up with be:
T51R Kai (BB) Turbo, HKS T51R Flange Manifold, HKS GT II Wastegate (50mm)
Custom WGT 3" downpipe,
850cc sard primary and 1680cc bosch secondary,
Sard rail Kit.
HKS Intercooler Kit - R Type V-Mount.
and standard non ported engine, would it be ok to run your standard radiator at the moment before rebuild and Bridgeport or is it best too for safety?
I already have on the car:
ACT Twin plate,
Sard fuel pump 280l
This setup be fine at the moment for a non ported engine or anything else i missed out that people can fill me up on thanks.
Surely with no porting you\'ll take forever to spool that turbo
Depends what size AR he has got, but still a big turbo for standard ports.
I\'ve got a hks manifold for the T51 which I could be selling if you need it. :)
