Title: What coilovers to buy? FD3s
Post by: SSR_Jake on November 02, 2011, 08:31:56 PM
The time has come to put the suspension together and get the car rolling so it can go in the garage for winter... What would you say the best coilovers around are? This is a no expense spared area as I know the difference that a good suspension setup can make!

I\'ve looked at all sorts, HSD HR\'s, Cucso zero 2\'s, HKS Hipermax 3\'s, etc etc... But better than any reviews will tell me are peoples discussions on the matter...

Sweet, I will check them out...

ohlins make Lamborghini suspension right?.. I have a friend who had some fitted to his 300zx and didn\'t rate them compared to his Tein\'s, then again a company who makes suspension for Lamborghini arn\'t going to make something \'average\' =P

- Wolfie, is yours a track, drift or street setup? Or does it perform all round?

We supply the GAZ units.  There are a good number of our customers out there with them on, and they are an excellent compromise between a race damper and a road damper.

You have a choice:
Single adjustable (changes both bump and rebound at a set proportion)
With Top mounts £936
Without Top mounts (uses your existing ones) £648

These prices are including VAT, Postage and Packing is £15
We can fit them for you too.

i usually just use mine for street use, i have mine set 3 notches from the softest setting and are brilliant for road use and not too bone shakingly hard but still give a sporty feel
