Been searching around the internet for a step by step guide for converting to a single turbo from a twin on my FD. I have managed to get the old ones out and the new one mounted but i dont want to start yanking at all the solenoids and vacuum hoses without knowing exactly what to yank out.
I still want to pass emissions test. Perhaps someone has or can take some pictures for me labeling what to take out and what vacuum lines to wire up to my new single turbo. Or maybe someone can recomend a guid they have followed?
The negative camber guide seems to be the best bet but is still leaving me with some confusion.
Also people who have installed a single turbo what have you done with the old oil feed and returns? blocked one set of??
Finally if i remove these vacuum lines and electrical connections is it not going to throw up some ECU Engine management issues?

For my last annoying post, my t04z turbo, came with now installation instructions >.< anyone who has installed one fancy enlightening me on your oil and water feed setups.
in lay mans terms if possible, from what to where with what :P

Do you have an after market ECU? Do you still have an air pump, Cat and Air Control Valve?

Im also interested in answers to the above, and Im curious to what the air control valve does.......
The air control valve is an ECU controlled valve which distributes air from the air pump to the inlet manifold and the cat for emission purposes, and the cat needs air so it can burn properly.
Cheers Phil. Just out of curiousity, do you know if this air control valve is jammed open, how would it effect running? I plan to remove my air pump, and was just wondering to leave this valve in or remove completely and block off the pipework from the inlet.
