i can almost hear Ross firing the die grinder up and attacking some plates, the sizzle of a welder inserting a cage into an FD, and a grinder screaching away removing any uneccessary weight/metal of the chassis.

his record wont stand much longer, maybe until after the winter ;) and he will be back out to fight off any of the rivals trying unseat him as king of the hill for the uks fastest street rx7:Giggle:Giggle:Giggle

what boost have you got Robs car up too now? i do believe James was going to be near 2.0 Bar for flame and thunder?

I was there and I witnessed all the runs. IMO Rotary Ruled the show. Next year skylines will be catching up-first! There best is/was 9.5, so they have to beat 9.2 before they come close to the Rotary Power.

I must admit Jaydee and Blitzen are top mappers! Rob (for Blitz) ran 2 Bar a Boost :) :D :D:D and James (for Jaydee) was on less than 2 Bar :) :D :D

I made some videos but they tuned out to be useless because I made those videos through IPhone and the video quality is nonsense :( :( :(

I will post a link for everyone to judge the video quality before I upload more

Next year hopefully I will be joining them :D :D :D

Cheers
Mir

Link to James crash at the Pod, James is a very good driver! otherwise it could have been worse. Please do comment on the :censored::censored::censored::censored: camera quality as I couldn\'t record the terminals clearly-due to not having a Zoom option on an IPhone when recording a video :( :( :(

Yes Im glad James has finally got some good luck for once in getting consistent low times, the amount of work Jaydee and Kerim to solve his problems has been pure love and dedication.

Rob is getting better and better with his racecraft, he pulled a 1.3 60ft (PB) in his last run and was on for a 9 second dead run for sure , but missed a gear!

I cant wait for next year, a rotary street car in the 8s!!!!

Daft question but..

Whats with the strange sound during burnout? Rev limiter causing popping sound?

It\'s the wastegate opening and shutting sound. Very distinctive sound but I actually love it.

Cheers

I\'m sure he\'d answer if like many he wasn\'t banned, maybe try asking on FDUK.

I would ask him but I don\'t think he would answer the question from me as he has said he thinks I\'m not worthy of him to answer any questions I would have.

Other than that reason I would be asking away unless someone else asks him who he considers worthy of an answer from him.

It would be great to see him back on the straight and narrow as he did, 5 years ago?, what people are just coming closer to now.

Ross\'s drag car was the the reason why I liked FDs  from the first time I saw his in max power.

Great result . Are they spraying in extra power or turbo power only ?

Are they using nitrous oxide ? Does anyone know ? Cheers .

Jus turbo power I believe. The street class rules only allow one power adder. Nitrous is another complication to setup the car to go fast. They\'re both running around 2 bar of boost.
