Title: 1993 FD3S Downpipe and Midpipe
Post by: TheJackal on June 27, 2004, 09:40:47 PM
I am looking at a polished stainless de-cat downpipe and midpipe from the states, does anyone know if this will fit on my car bearing in mind that the one in the states will be for a left hand drive car ?

I\'m almost certain the US DownPipe won\'t fit a UK or JDM car. Bear in mind that the US cars are Right hand drive, so they don\'t  have to worry about the downpipe fowling the steering rack or column.
I looked into this at some point. And I\'m sure the answer for the most part was no.

Thgouht I replied to this last night but any way;

The UK/Jap down pipe is squashed at the top so the steering column doesnt hit it - US cars dont have this problem and thus arent squahsed to clear the steering i.e. wont fit any RHD cars.

Midpipe will fit but will probably cost you as much or more than getting one from the UK.
