Title: choose a good kit intercooler
Post by: StreetracerHCI on October 23, 2011, 11:17:10 PM
hi guys :D
After some searches on the web
I am considering the purchase of two kits for my upgrade.

1 Custom V-Mount Intercooler Kit  by Rx7 Store. net from USA. 802,281GPB plus 21% for customs taxes to Italy.

2 RX7 Single Turbo Intercooler Kit by Racign Radtec from UK 1188 GPB delivered to italy.

in the first kit you can use the stock fans, while in the second,(RadTec) should provide their slim fans. I do not know the efficacy of this type of fan and I have some doubts.

what do you advise me?

I have a Hayward rotary custom V mount for sale, its for an FC but should fit an FD fine, its a Radtec system

They don\'t come up often, especially at this price!

It retails at £1200

is there no one that can fabricate up some pipe for you in italy? £800 +21 for a few bits of pipe, some silicone and a core is daylight robbery!

is the same thing that I thought the kit RW, £800 for only IC core and Rad. on which they must adapt the stock fans.
for the pipes and the rest I have no problem, I can do it :)

@dthebuk
but, you were talking about of kit from rx7 store?

I don\'t think £800 is bad at all for a new V-mount, i know some one who bought a Knightsport one new from Jap land and that was 2k.

I have myself bought a Koyo rad (new) which was £350 and an Apexi FMIC which was £800 on its own once you had shipping on top :)

the basic kit is actually £700......due to where you are and having insured shipping to italy the total price for you shipped is £800.

oh you forgot the brackets, and the v mount rad (not just a std fd rad...with the pipes in the wrong place)

I suggest you get cracking and knock up some kits for us all to enjoy!!;)
